As a foreign language high school teacher, I find inspiring to see that education is openning up to approaches fitting our students’ needs and talents. Thank you for making the information and resources available!

    Good evening,

My name is Kristen Perkins, and I’m a doctoral student in educational Leadership through William Woods in University. My assertion is that “seat time” is archaic necessity in achieving high school credit and graduation and with that increasing digital technologies and push for competency-based learning, schools should reform to better meet the unique needs of their students.

I can across a short article about your reform in this area in Ed.gov, and I would love to speak to your department about how this came to be, what factors were taken into account, what data you used, and how you implemented the changes.

I appreciate all time and information you consider.
    Thanks,
    Kristen Perkins
