Research in Online Learning from the Colorado Department of Education

This webinar reveals significant trends in online learning and student characteristics in the state of Colorado, based on findings from two reports from the Colorado Department of Education. The presenters share the results of these two studies and discuss the potential implications for the field.

The University of Colorado’s Center for Education Policy Analysis conducted the first comparative study in October 2012, which explored K-12 student and parent experiences in both online and face-to-face environments. The Colorado Department of Education conducted the second study, which used data to explore key trends and characteristics of students enrolled in online learning.
